Bhel Puri Recipe


Bhel puri is a famous street food in India and loved by everyone. It is made with puffed rice, chutneys, veggies & Sev. Bhel Puri tastes slightly sweet, sour, and spicy.

Serves 3

Ingredients
  • Puffed rice - 1 1/2 cups
  • Onion - 1
  • Tomato - 1
  • Boiled Peeled Potato - 1 small
  • Coriander Leaves -1/2 tbsp
  • Fine Sev - 1/2 cup
  • Parboiled Moong Sprouts (optional) - 1/4 cup
  • Roasted Peanuts (optional) - 1 tsp
  • Hot Green Chutney - 1 tsp
  • Tamarind Chutney - 1 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Lime Juice 1/4 tsp
  • Puries (optional) 10-12 crushed
Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, and all ingredients except coriander and sev.
  • Add puffed rice, coriander, sev, and mix well.
  • If too dry, sprinkle a few drops water.
  • Add salt as required and mix well. Spoon into individual bowls.
  • Sprinkle some coriander leaves and sev to garnish.
  • Serve immediately.
