Bangalore Palace is located in the city of Bangalore, India. The palace was originally a property of Reverend J Garrett, who was the principal of a school in the cantonment town at that time.
- The public can view the palace between 10 am – 5 pm and is open throughout the year and on all days of the week.
- The Bangalore palace was built in 1887 by King Chamaraja Wodeyar, who belonged to the Wodeyar dynasty, which ruled the Kingdom of Mysore.
- The current Entrance Fee for Indians is Rs. 225, and for Foreign Tourists is Rs. 450. Photography is not allowed until you buy a separate token from the counter in the palace.
- The architecture of this building was inspired by the Windsor Castle of England and other Tudor-style design castles. The palace represents the lavish and splendor lifestyles of India's most resilient ruling dynasties. The palace is visited by thousands of visitors every day.
